Balance Oiled
This extremely durable boot is made with a full grain oiled leather. It features an injection molded front shin guard and three new alloy buckles, which are replaceable. It is also waterproof thanks to a breathable membrane liner we call "Gaernedrytech." A gum rubber sole completes the task for a great feel and control of the bike.

Alpine Stars
SHIN
PLATE. A new lightweight wrap around shin plate with a large tibia
protector injected with high impact PU material.
REAR PLATE. PU injected spine.
ANKLE SUPPORT AND PROTECTION. Patented "ankle-brace" system
with shock absorbing padding on the outside ankle.
INSIDE LEG. Synthetic insert increases lateral support and protection.
INSTEP FLEX AREA. Leather and Lorica instep bellow with a high abrasion
resistance patch on the outside of the ball of the foot.
FOOTBED. Replaceable anatomic footbed.
UPPER. Leather.
SOLE. Alpinestars exclusive double durometer rubber sole with high
grip, rough terrain design. Toe to heel protection, including a stamped
steel shank.
CLOSURE. 3 buckles with memory and an integrated quick release/locking
system and a top reverse closure. Top of the boot sealed with a Velcro
strap connected to elastic stretch leather.
LINING. Polyester mesh coupled with padded foam.
WATERPROOFING. Extended gattor and sealed seams.
